She Rests Her Head Video
May 26, 2008Back in February, I told you about Augusta’s local music awards show where I was nominee and a performer. Tonight I stumbled across my page on Lounge’s Local Band Guide, where I was surprised to find a video from the awards show! Thanks, Joe Mason!
Joe recorded my performance of “She Rests Her Head,” the first track off my album, Tequila Mockingbird. Some of you may remember “She Rests Her Head” as the song I performed at the finals for the Lilith Fair Talent Search where I was runner-up. It’s always been one of my favorite songs, so I was thrilled to find Joe’s video on Lounge.
Check out the video for “She Rests Her Head” on Lounge.com.

No walls and floors your music inspired me the first time I lisened to you on on of the gaither shows you were singing thiis song bout a old woman in the last of her days saying that she when spring comes will be gone to be with JESUS I felt a tear roll down my chick for whilst this song was playing my mom was listening and just the very look at her and the message that song brings made me feel that not only has God blessed you with talent unspeakable you have touched a heart off a mother who loves her children knowing that she would not be there to love and protect them when the good Lord lays her to rest LOVE and blessings Rochelle
You’re thinking of another Jessica King who’s a gospel singer (not an acoustic folk/rock singer). Her email address used to be jessica [at] jessica-king.com, but about a year ago all email to that address started getting returned. At one time she had a record deal with Journey Records. That’s all the info I have on her.
