Local Music Awards this Saturday
Just a reminder that the 2008 Lokal Loudness Choice Awards show is this Saturday, Feb. 9 @ the 1102 Back Bar. I’ll be presenting as well as performing a short set (probably around 9 or so), plus maybe walking home with the award for Augusta’s favorite solo artist. The full lineup and list of nominees can be found at Augusta’s local music home, LokalLoudness.org.
On that note, if you haven’t checked out the new Lokal Loudness website, you should stop by. There’s a ton of content there - news, reviews, interviews - as well as links to everything related to Augusta’s local music scene. You may be surprised to see how many bands there actually are in Augusta! It’s worth a look, though, if you enjoy live music or live in the CSRA.
